The Grandmaster Kernspecht has become an honorary Tai Chi Master in
Bulgaria |
On
the 14th of November in Varna, Bulgaria, the Grandmaster K. R.
Kernspecht received an official diploma of Honorary Master of Tai Chi.
The diploma was presented to him during an official meeting with
Master Krasimir Dimitrov, the president of the Bulgarian Yang Taichi
Association and the head judge and examiner for Bulgarian Wu Shu
Federation.
As one of the greatest researchers, supporters and fans of the Chinese
martial arts, a long standing explorer and writer in that field, GM K.
R. Kernspecht is a man with enviable experience in different styles
and systems, who personally met many martial art masters in the world.
In recent years his practice and research have lead him to a
rediscovery of the essentials of martial arts and the idea of how they
are applied into the movements. This new understanding changed the
perspective of his WingTsun teaching; not from the form and the
movements to the content, but the concept that the principles generate
the movements.
His interest to internal Martial Arts is long. He has met and trained
with many masters of Tai Chi , Bagaua Jang, etc.
Recently
he was invited by Master Jan Zilberstoff from Germany to write the
preface for his new book about Chen Style Taichi and to participate in
new project, a compatible book of WingTsun and Tai Chi.
The research and the amazing change in Grandmaster Kernspecht’s
practice lead to the rediscovery of WingTsun as a remarkable
combination of internal and external martial art system. Based on that
and in recognition for his consummate achievements, the directors
committee of the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association - Bulgaria
awarded him the level of Honorary Master of Tai Chi.
